Stainless exhaust, built one at a time.
TIG-welded stainless systems and headers for race cars — and straight exhaust work for whatever you drive daily. Every joint fitted on the car before anything gets welded solid.
Stainless first.
Everything else too.
Most of my bench time goes to stainless exhaust — race headers and full custom systems. The rest is chassis and suspension work for race and drift cars, exhaust work on daily drivers, and repair welding on steel that has cracked, rusted, or broken loose.
Stainless exhaust & headers
Custom systems built from raw tube, not modified off-the-shelf parts. 304 stainless, TIG welded, back-purged so the inside of the joint looks like the outside.
- Full custom stainless systems
- Race headers & primaries
- Merge collectors & Tri-Y
- Mandrel bends, minimal joints
- Turbo downpipes
- Slip fits & V-band flanges
- Stainless polishing
Suspension & chassis parts
Load-bearing parts that steer and hold the car up. Built or repaired with full penetration welds and checked for straightness before they go back on.
- Formula Vee front axle repair
- Brackets, tabs & mounts
- Cracked suspension parts
- Race & drift builds
Cage & weld repair
Cracked, bent, or rusted-through steel that needs to go back together properly. Repair work — I don't build cages from scratch.
- Roll cage repair & re-weld
- Rust-out patch repair
- Exhaust mount & hanger repair
- Steel · stainless · aluminum
- On-car repair where it sits
Exhaust repair & install
Daily drivers welcome. Rusted-out midpipe, dropped hanger, droning catback — in and out, usually same day.
- Exhaust repair & re-weld
- Catback install
- Flex pipe replacement
- Hanger & clamp repair
- Resonator & muffler swap
- Custom bent-to-fit sections

this month.
Every job gets a card. Here are three that show the range — a race car header set, a turbo downpipe, and a daily driver that just needed to stop waking the neighbors.
Formula Vee — stainless header set
| Chassis | Formula Vee, open-wheel |
|---|---|
| Work | Equal-length primaries, merge collector, slip fits |
| Material | 304 stainless, mandrel bent |
| Notes | Back-purged, TIG throughout |
Primaries cut and fit to length on the car so the collector lands where it should. No weld intrusion inside the tube — the exhaust sees a smooth bore end to end.
Nissan Laurel — turbo downpipe
| Chassis | Nissan Laurel, turbo build |
|---|---|
| Work | Custom downpipe and wastegate pipe |
| Material | Stainless, TIG welded |
| Notes | V-band to a Garrett turbo, external wastegate |
Downpipe built and welded up on the turbo itself so the V-band lines up and it clears the engine and chassis. The external wastegate got its own pipe, made the same way.
MK4 Jetta — 2.5" catback
| Chassis | VW Jetta MK4, 1.8T |
|---|---|
| Work | Rusted midpipe cut out, custom catback, new hangers |
| Material | 2.5" aluminized, mandrel bent |
| Notes | Same-day, drove out that afternoon |
Rot from the flex pipe back. Bent and fit new sections on the car so nothing hangs low, and picked a muffler that kills the highway drone.

Text the year, make, model and a few pictures of what you're dealing with. Most jobs get a ballpark number back the same day.
Measure & mock up
Car comes in, goes up on stands or the work goes on the table. It gets tacked up and fitment checked before anything is welded solid.
Build it
Final welds, cleanup, and coating or paint where it's needed. You get pictures as it goes, not just at the end.
Check it on the car
Clearance, hangers, driveshaft, heat. It doesn't leave until it fits right and the price matches the number you were quoted.

One welder.
Five years of it.
You won't get passed to a service writer. The person quoting your job is the person welding it — five years on the torch, plate and tube certified through Illinois Central College, a boilermaker apprentice, and time on both production lines and field jobs. TIG is the specialty; MIG and stick get the same standard.
